This holiday season, some very special guests are taking over the Calgary Police Discovery Centre, and they all have four paws!
Holiday Hounds is a festive celebration of the incredible PADS facility dogs who work alongside Calgary Police and community partners to bring comfort, calm, and support to people when they need it most.
For one joyful day, these remarkable dogs will be on site to meet families, pose for photos, and soak up plenty of well-deserved admiration.
But this is a police building… which means we also have one suspect in custody.
After years of holiday hijinks, the Grinch has finally been arrested by Calgary Police and locked safely inside our holding cell. Visitors are invited to stop by, witness the consequences of holiday mischief, and grab a photo with Calgary’s most notorious seasonal troublemaker.
What You’ll Experience at Holiday Hounds:
- Professional photos with Santa and PADS facility dogs
- Photos with the Grinch behind bars
- Meet the Victim Assistance Support Team and their facility dogs
- Milk & Cookies Bar for festive treats
- Holiday craft station for kids
- Naughty or Nice Selfie Station
- Full access to the Police Museum experience
